Range and Habitat
These lovely plants are found in the eastern parts of Mpumalanga and Limpopo Provinces in South Africa.
Clivia caulescens can be seen growing in the evergreen forests. Normally growing on the forest floor, on rocks or on the trunks of trees.

Measurements
They usually grow to a length of 500 - 1500 mm. Many plants produce aerial stems of a metre and taller with age.
Their pointed leaves are long and thin, measuring around 40 to 70 mm in width and about 300 to 600 mm
long.
They flower in Spring and early Summer (September to December in the Southern hemisphere), and have light orange-red pendulous flowers with green tips.
Six months after successful pollination, the berries will turn red and ripen, containing between 1 and 4 seeds each.
